The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading medium to large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives that deliver meaningful business value. This role partners closely with stakeholders across IT and Business Operations to define scope, schedule, and budget, and successfully drive projects from initiation through deployment.

This role is focused on execution and delivery of defined initiatives, with opportunities to take on increasing complexity and strategic ownership over time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Leads end-to-end delivery of IT projects across the full project lifecycle (initiation through deployment and handoff)

  • Manages projects of moderate to high complexity, visibility, and cross-functional impact

  • Partners with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, success metrics, and business outcomes

  • Develops and maintains detailed project plans, milestones, and integrated delivery schedules

  • Proactively manages risks, issues, and dependencies; escalates as appropriate

  • Ensures projects are delivered within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters

  • Maintains clear, consistent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Supports financial tracking, resource planning, and budget reconciliation

  • Creates and maintains key project artifacts (status reports, dashboards, documentation)

  • Facilitates cross-functional meetings, working sessions, and project governance forums

  • Contributes to process improvement efforts and adoption of project management best practices

  • May provide guidance or mentorship to junior team members or project contributors

Scope & Impact:

  • Accountable for one or more concurrent IT initiatives

  • Works within defined frameworks but exercises independent judgment in execution

  • Partners with senior project managers or leadership on more complex initiatives

  • Focused on delivering clearly defined business outcomes rather than shaping enterprise strategy

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered

  • 3+ years of experience in IT, project management, or related field

  • Experience managing projects end-to-end in a cross-functional environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment

  • PMP certification (or in progress)

  • Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodology experience

  • Experience supporting application development, system implementations, or operational initiatives

This is a remote position based in the United States. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.
