Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance - Enterprise Performance & Planning, you’ll play a key role in guiding tax compliance, supporting commercial decisions, and contributing to high-impact initiatives through your tax technical analysis. Your day-to-day will see you working alongside initiative leads and value stream teams, providing expert advice on tax risk, policy, and compliance. You’ll help shape contracts, support strategic investments, and mentor others - always with an eye on delivering value and unlocking efficiencies. The role is flexible in location and offers the chance to work across different teams, broadening your skills and making a real impact.

Ko wai koe | About you

You bring at least three years’ post-qualification experience in tax, with a growing commercial acumen and a knack for seeing the bigger picture. Your strong tax technical expertise is matched by your ability to collaborate, communicate, and build trust across diverse teams. We support our people to work how, where and when works the best. Most of the Finance team are based in Wellington and work 2-3 days a week in our office there (the rest at home), so that would be the place to be if you enjoy regular in-person team time, however this role can be fully remote, and we’re open to applications from all over Aotearoa. You might be interested to know we have offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Taupō and Clyde, too.
