What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- At least 4 years of experience in the communications and marketing sector
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and communication strategies in a not-for-profit or commercial environment
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, social advertising, website platform administration, analytics, and tracking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in utilizing social media marketing platforms and management tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and WordPress editing tools such as WP Engine.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge and experience in the health or care sectors are advantageous but not essential
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
What will you do?
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns; manage calendar activities and promotional events including Carers Week, charity golf days, anniversaries, and more. Utilize a mix of radio, television, social media, and other channels to reach target audiences.
- Craft compelling marketing content across various platforms, including publications, website copy, social media posts, annual reports, and speeches. Ensure all content effectively communicates the organization's activities and services.
- Offer graphic design assistance to team members for creating brochures and flyers using design software like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Maintain clear communication regarding upcoming activities and promotions, readily assisting departmental teams and key organizational members who might require support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and brand awareness.
