What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Australian bookkeeping functions
- Proficiency in Xero (end-to-end bookkeeping), HubDoc
- Strong understanding of transaction coding from source documents
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Payable processes and experience with payroll processing
- Skilled in Balance Sheet reconciliation and BAS preparation
- Ability to conduct Profit and Loss reviews
- Ability to use and adapt to other accounting software as needed
Nice to Have:
- CRM Software Proficiency
What will you do?
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping using Xero
- Code transactions accurately based on source documents
- Handle monthly Accounts Receivable and Payable reconciliations
- Process and manage payroll
- Reconcile clearing accounts and third-party app data
- Post and review manual journal entries
- Execute catch-up bookkeeping tasks as required
- Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Conduct regular Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reviews
- Manage practice administration tasks such as:
- Accounts Receivable follow-up
- Client onboarding
- Document filing and records management
