POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications is responsible for providing functional and technical application support and delivery capabilities to MediaPulse, ensuring that best practices are maintained, and compliance requirements are met.

This position requires a unique blend of strong technical and business skills combined with customer-focused professional experience.  You will bring a track record of strong follow-through and consistently keeping commitments to internal business stakeholders, IT team members and external vendor partners.

MAIN DUTIES:
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications acts as the primary support contact for end-users; ensures that support requests are logged, analyzed and solutioned, investigating the root cause of issues and provides recommendations for solutions as well as recommending process and functionality improvements. They will manage the Support team members and write/update Standard Operating Procedures about Media Pulse Operations. Their duties also include the following:
  • Translates business functional requirements arising from new requests into accurate and meaningful detailed functional and technical design documents.
  • Prepares, maintains, and distributes approved guidelines and procedures for the IT related processes within the operating company.
  • Prepares manuals and training materials and conducts training for end users on proper use of both new and existing applications.
  • Assists in the development of solutions and process improvements in support of the Xytech MediaPulse platform and other business applications supporting Finance and Operations.  Identifies issues and bottlenecks in processes and practices, as well as in the use of MediaPulse and other applications.
  • Serves as a team member on projects to help & coordinate the development of metrics, reports, processes, analyses, etc. to meet user requirements.
  • Assists in preparation of functional / integration test plans, performs system, regression, and performance testing.
  • Documents the systems and end-to-end processes, adapted to the company’s performance.
  • Researches, plans, evaluates, and coordinates new and/or modifications/upgrades of existing business processing hardware and software systems.

WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have strong educational or proven working experience in Information Technology, or related field, with the primary focus on data management and/or programming. They must have prior experience working in an enterprise, multi-tiered, interdependent environment, and must have hands-on system analyst experience. Additional desired skills include:
  • Functional knowledge of business application concepts – examples include commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business applications, such as Oracle, Peoplesoft, Workday, SAP, or similar applications.
  • Knowledge of Order Management, Billing and Collections business processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive engagement and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong issue management skills to assist with issue identification and problem resolution.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrates a customer-service oriented approach to problem solving and gathering feedback to determine continuous improvements.
  • Experience with capturing requirements and documenting business processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off. The benefits for eligible project hires and part-time employees working less than 25 hours per week in the US include retirement, select insurance benefits, and where required by law, health benefits. For roles filled in Canada and other territories, local benefits plan offerings will apply.
