About your new role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technical Program Manager to lead and drive innovation in our network and security product portfolio, with a strong focus on SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telecom networks, security solutions, and cloud connectivity, along with a track record of successful product development, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership. This role demands a technology evangelist who thrives on collaboration and is passionate about solving complex problems with practical, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development
- Own the product lifecycle for SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, CASB, and other network security solutions.
- Develop detailed business cases, ROI models, and competitive positioning strategies.
- Define product roadmaps in collaboration with engineering, marketing, operations, and sales.
- Lead vendor evaluations and selections, including RFP development and analysis.
Cross-functional Leadership
- Facilitate effective communication across departments including marketing, engineering, customer support, and sales.
- Design and deliver training sessions and collateral for internal teams.
- Drive go-to-market strategies, including press releases, product documentation, and sales campaigns.
Technology Enablement
- Stay ahead of industry trends in network engineering, VoIP, cloud integration (AWS, Azure), and zero trust security architectures (ZTNA).
- Act as the subject matter expert and technology evangelist internally and externally.
- Support customer engagements as needed with high-level technical guidance and solution positioning.
What you'll need for success:
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in telecommunications or enterprise networking.
- Proven track record as a Product Manager for security and network services.
- Experience launching and managing SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE solutions.
- Background in network engineering (Ethernet, Layer 2/3, VoIP, Wireless).
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale vendor relationships.
- Experience with cloud services connectivity and hybrid environments.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in integration labs or test environments for product validation.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies, campaign management, and sales enablement.
