We are excited to invite applications to join our Hill’s Pet Nutrition team as a Director, Product Management supporting the Global Growth and Innovation Organization. We are looking for a self-motivated individual that can work well both independently and within a team. They are a self-starter that is eager to drive innovation while contributing to the Project Management capabilities of the team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Data and Analytics product leader establishing the foundation for data and analytics product development and integration into cross-functional workflows
- Lead a global effort, partnering closely with business and IT leaders in managing our product strategy
- Develop and implement the process for data documentation across functions/regions within a shared platform in partnership with IT Data Excellence and CP Global Data Operations
- Develop and implement the intake process for data and analytics across functions/regions including the refinement of business questions
- Lead the prioritization of the Product Backlog to maximize company outcomes
- Work with Data and Analytics Directors and Project Manager(s) to track resource allocation and utilization
- Manage the communication of Data and Analytics Products with business and IT leaders
- Integrate the perspectives and needs of Business Intelligence, Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Engineers in product development for the company
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
- Up to 25% travel
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Clear, concise and user-friendly communication skills to easily transmit your ideas to any audience
- Commitment to business partnership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified SAFe or experience in SAFe
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and/or Trello)
- Experience working on Agile or Scrum development teams
- Strong motivational and organizational skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity - in business requirements, technology options and project direction
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $146,000.00 - $175,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
- Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
- Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
- Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
- Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
- Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
