What You'll Be Doing:
- Reviewing and analyzing chargeback claims, identifying fraudulent transactions, and taking appropriate actions to mitigate losses;
- Investigating and documenting chargeback disputes, gathering relevant evidence, and preparing responses;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand transaction data and identify fraud patterns or trends;
- Recommending and implementing strategies to reduce chargeback rates and prevent fraudulent activities;
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to chargeback cases;
- Monitoring chargeback-related KPIs and performance metrics to ensure effective chargeback management;
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to chargebacks and fraud prevention.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively investigate and resolve chargeback cases;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to handle complex chargeback issues;
- Knowledge of chargeback processes and regulations is a plus, but not mandatory;
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or Ruby would be advantageous but is not a strict requirement;
- Previous experience in chargeback management or fraud prevention is a valuable asset;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement preventive measures;
- Fast learning capabilities to adapt to evolving chargeback trends and technologies.
