CloudQuery is a growing Series A startup in the data space and the creators of the open source high performance ELT framework, powered by Apache Arrow. CloudQuery is powering data movement for SREs, platform, and security teams in Fortune 100. We are looking to another Founding Account Executive to be a core member of our go-to-market team. You’ll work with customers and prospects through inbound and outbound channels and help us evolve our sales and go-to-market motions.
Requirements
- Generate a strong pipeline of potential new customers and exceed quarterly targets through prospecting and fulfilling inbound demand.
- Work collaboratively with our Sales Engineer and CEO to deeply understand customer business needs, educate them on our product and space, negotiate contracts, and help them succeed with CloudQuery.
- Work with existing customers to explore revenue expansion opportunities by selling products they are not using and onboarding new teams or departments.
- Collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams, share customer feedback and insights to inform our product roadmap
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and share your forecast with the rest of the GTM team, leadership, and finance
About You:
- 5+ years in a quota-carrying sales role, ideally selling to enterprise customers
- Experience selling to a technical audience, ideally those who work with data tools
- Experience closing complex 5 and 6 figure ARR deals
- Startup experience; comfortable working and adapting in a fast-paced and flexible environment; building processes from scratch where it doesn’t exist
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills.
