Climate Action was founded in 2007 as a formal partnership with UN Environment, the world's foremost body on environmental protection and stewardship. For over 15 years, the organization has operated at the intersection of climate change policy, innovation, and sustainable finance. Climate Action's mission is to facilitate collaboration to encourage the development, deployment, and accelerated uptake of globally sustainable, net zero solutions. The company engages with over 140,000 members globally and partners with an ecosystem of 1,000 impact partners, UN Agencies, and private sector companies.

Through a dynamic portfolio of digital and in-person events, Climate Action forges tangible partnerships between business, government, policymakers, and investors focused on driving the global shift to net zero. Their flagship events include the Sustainable Innovation Forum during COP, the Climate Innovation Forum during London Climate Action Week, Sustainable Investment Forums in Europe and North America, the Hydrogen Transition Summit, and the Nature Finance Forum. These high-impact hybrid and digital events bring together senior representatives from regional governments, UN agencies, international NGOs, investors, donors, research institutes, and solution providers to accelerate the transition to a global green economy and advance progress toward the UN Global Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement.
