At CLEAR Global, language isn't just a service - it's a lifeline for the world's most vulnerable communities. Founded as Translators without Borders in 2011, this nonprofit has grown into a global movement connecting over 200,000 linguists across 148 countries who donate their skills to translate vital information for people who would otherwise be left out of critical conversations. The organization operates primarily remotely, fostering a diverse team culture based on open communication, respect, and trust where employees from around the world collaborate and innovate across teams.

CLEAR Global believes everyone deserves access to information and the ability to be heard, whatever language they speak. Through four billion conversations and counting, they've built multilingual chatbots for COVID-19 and Ebola information in Nigeria and the DRC, created smart apps for Latin American migrants at the US border, and developed offline voice-enabled glossaries and machine translation tools for marginalized languages. Their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Group works alongside leadership to ensure everyone is treated with dignity, and they maintain an open, transparent workplace that encourages creativity and productivity through online tools, virtual monthly meetings, and in-team workshops.
