Senior Marketing and Operations Analyst

Chowbus, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks Senior Marketing and Operations Analyst. Develop quantitative analysis, tools, and models to support city operation and marketing planning. Research, create, and implement data solutions including data collection, transformation, and analysis on medium/large databases for business purposes. Create and interpret SQL statements, functions, and procedures to support reporting, analysis, and data extraction. Provide data-driven suggestions to help Chowbus identify opportunities to improve in marketing strategy and operation effectiveness. Prepare reports and maintain dashboards on a daily and weekly basis for marketing and operational purposes. Lead local market growth efforts by conducting in-depth evaluation and analysis of different marketing efforts to help derive insights and recommendations. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to provide data insights and recommendations for optimization towards operation efficiency goals, driver recruitment campaign goals, and new diner recruitment channels. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically, and translating complex findings into written reports. Analysis areas include (but not limited to) acquisition, retention, driver churn rate, and CSAT. Analyze customer care and order data to model various scenarios to optimize fee pricing and promotion strategies. Analyze customer care data to determine appropriate customer care retention strategies, such as determining appropriate amount of coupons and credit compensation for various customer issues, and tracking customer retention after compensation. 100% telecommuting from home allowed from anywhere in the United States.

Must possess a Master’s Degree in Business Communications, Marketing Analysis, or a related Social Science field. Must possess course work or work experience with: Consumer Behavior, Precision Marketing and Marketing strategies, Operation Management, Cost and Management Accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Fundamentals of Data Science, Analytical Tools for Marketers, Marketing Strategies/Plan, Internet and Interactive Marketing, Precision Marketing, Data Analysis and Regression, Market Research, and Advanced Market Research.
