Backend Engineer (Remote within the UK)

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Backend Engineer to help us build out a world beating set of AI-based features. Joining our engineering team you’ll be responsible for developing new AI based features and services to help us continue to deliver a great, cutting edge product to our customers that helps our company and their money grow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years working with Go.
  • Experience using event driven systems and message queues.
  • Infrastructure as code experience: ideally Terraform, but Pulumi and CloudFormation are great too.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS; Azure or GCP is also acceptable.
  • 2+ years experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes (standalone or EKS) or OpenShift.
  • Experience with serverless orchestration.
  • Familiarity and comfort with dockerising applications.
  • Experience automatically deploying containers into a number of environments.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing secure infrastructure in regulated environments.
  • A passion for AI concepts and tooling.
  • Experience working with Python & PHP.
  • Experience orchestrating agentic workflows including evaluations, knowledge bases & tooling.
  • A good understanding around LLM observability.
  • Experience integrating & deploying LLM-enabled systems in production environments.
