Position Summary:
CereCore is seeking a MEDITECH Expanse SUR Analystto join our team. This Analyst will be dedicated to the OR service line to support Meditech 5.6, Meditech Expanse On Prem, as well as Meditech Expanse Cloud preparedness. They will support build tasks. which includes a large volume of local build to be completed by the division team with very aggressive timelines. This work will be instrumental in ensuring an accurate build with complex facility specific workflows accounted for which have not been encountered in previous deployments.
This role will be remote.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with installation of clinical electronic healthcare systems.
- Working knowledge of Health Information Systems.
- Able to assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change as implemented/approved by leadership.
- Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal workflows and system functions.
- Openly shares this knowledge with peers, via Peer to Peer training.
- Develops documentation and project content for internal or external utilization.
- Has excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, customer service focus, and is able to work independently or on a project team.
- Drives client communication process to develop and enhance client understanding of the project Best Practice, project timelines, tasks, client commitment, risk/issue impacts and mitigation.
- Independently monitors own work for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Shares knowledge to project teams, clients and drive the process change with clients and within a team.
- Prioritizes own tasks and assists peers with task identification and documentation.
- Understands project deliverables and level of effort to complete. Participates in the strategic planning with clients or utilizes project knowledge in the statement of work development process.
- Drives to incorporate Lessons Learned into department practice/methodology, including process improvement.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in MEDITECH (Magic, C/S, Expanse) surrounding the Surgery module.
- Surgical background, PACU, Same day surgery experience and medical billing preferred
- Experience with business process analysis and design, including identification and implementation of best practices, when applicable and practical within the project time lines
- Accounting operational experience preferred
- Must have attention to detail and work well with a remote team
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Must have strong documentation skills, organization skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally.
