The Payments Sales Engineer provides payments expertise and support to the sales team and prospective merchants, working closely with the sales team, product, and merchants to drive successful implementation of the payment's solution.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in sales within the payments industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- Deep understanding of embedded payment processing technologies
- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, gateways, API, and integration into software
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the payments industry
