What You’ll Do

As our Recruitment Operations Specialist, you’ll ensure every candidate has a great experience with Catawiki, no matter the outcome. You’ll support the Talent team by keeping our hiring processes running smoothly, from owning the tooling to making sure everything’s organised on time in a candidate-friendly way. Our Talent team hire and onboard ~100–200 new “Catawikians” each year and you’ll be essential in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Keep candidates informed and supported with timely updates via email and phone.
  • Schedule interviews and feedback syncs using Greenhouse, Google Calendar, and our AI-powered scheduling tool, GoodTime.
  • Manage candidate records, job postings, and reports in Greenhouse and HiBob.
  • Own recruitment data and reporting (e.g. funnels, KPIs, offer stats, referrals etc).
  • Be the go-to person and owner for our recruitment systems, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate on projects with recruiters, hiring managers, and People Team partners to improve candidate experience and data accuracy..

Who You Are

You’re a self-starter with sharp attention to detail and a love for getting things done right. We think you’ll be great in this role if you have:

  • Experience supporting operations or working in a customer-facing environment: You understand the importance of experience and communication.
  • A natural communicator who enjoys interacting with people with strong written and spoken English
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to build quick rapport with others.
  • Passion for working with data to improve processes and decision-making.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for automation and AI tools, but still with a human-first approach.
  • Confidence working autonomously in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience with recruitment tools (e.g. ATS, HRIS, scheduling platforms) is preferred but not essential.

The Catawiki Talent Management Team

Our team is based across the Netherlands, Portugal, and the UK. We’re big on supporting each other, learning together, and making time to have fun to - whether it’s through team socials, coffee chats, or our quarterly meetups.

This role can be based in Amsterdam or Lisbon. We work in a Hybrid setup with work from the office two days per week.

We foster an inclusive and queer-friendly work environment, committed to making every Catawikian feel welcomed and empowered. Whatever your story, we encourage you to bring your unique perspective to our team.
  • Celebrate Life’s Moments with us at Catawiki. When you join us, you’ll receive a €100 Catavoucher, and on each birthday, you'll get a €50 Catavoucher to celebrate. Enjoy an extra day off each year to "Pursue Your Passion". We also recognise significant work anniversaries (3, 5, 8, 10 years) with additional time off, plus extra leave for life’s big moments like marriage, engagements, or moving house.

Please note that benefits can vary by location. For specific information regarding what’s available in your country, please consult your recruiter.

Our Offices and Way of Working

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means that you will be in the office 2 out of 5 days (40% of your working time) to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. That said, some roles may be an exception: if the job description states that the position is fully remote or 100% office-based, that arrangement will apply instead.
