Carpenters Workshop Gallery is a leading global gallery that produces and exhibits functional sculptures by international rising and established artists and designers. Founded in 2006 by childhood friends Julien Lombrail and Loïc Le Gaillard, the gallery focuses on the intersection of art and design, often venturing outside traditional territories of expression. Our customers—collectors, museums, and art enthusiasts—seek unique, limited-edition pieces that transcend mere functionality to become emotional and artistic statements. We address this desire by curating exhibitions that blur the lines between these disciplines, presenting works that are as intellectually rigorous as they are visually compelling.

With locations in London, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, we have established a global footprint that allows us to serve a diverse and sophisticated clientele. Our mission is to foster a dialogue between art and design, and we achieve this by being actively involved in the research and production of the works we exhibit. In 2016, we opened 'The Workshop' in Roissy, France, an 8,000-square-meter facility dedicated to artistic research and development. This unique space brings together an elite team of artisans who work collaboratively with our artists to push the boundaries of craftsmanship and material innovation. By integrating production into our gallery model, we ensure that every piece we present meets the highest standards of quality and artistic integrity, offering our clients truly exceptional works that define the contemporary collectible design market.
