Job Purpose and Impact

The Field Representative - Retail will participate in face to face and remote selling to the company's new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions. This role is part of the sales team in Animal Nutrition, will support the state of Oklahoma and additional Kansas territories, travel is required to cover the territory.

Key Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
• Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
• Plan daily activities, including customer visits, grand Opening Events, Joint Sponsorship Opportunities, Promotions, and Groundswell strategies while delivering on key sales opportunities in the geography.
• Possesses a basic knowledge of products, their characteristics and market, sell and stimulate demand for a series of products.
• Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Knowledge or experience of the animal nutrition industry
• Ability to travel up to 60% (occasional weekends and overnights)
• Drivers license in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce knowledge or experience
• Equine nutrition knowledge

Position Information

• Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
• This is a remote position within Oklahoma and Kansas states only.
• Travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.
