We are a family company with a rich heritage, founded in 1865 by William Wallace Cargill when he bought his first grain warehouse in Conover, Iowa. From those humble beginnings, we've grown into a global partner, connecting people and resources across the agricultural supply chain. For over 155 years, we've been dedicated to nourishing the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way. Our purpose is to be a trusted leader in food, agriculture, financial, and industrial products and services. We partner with farmers, producers, manufacturers, retailers, governments, and communities to help people thrive by applying our insights and extensive experience. We strive to create efficiencies, develop innovations, and help communities prosper.
