Summary of Role:

NFP is currently seeking experienced Implementation Specialists to join our benefits administration team. Our specialists will assist in helping NFP meet and exceed client expectations by managing and supporting new and renewal business implementations on our state-of-the-art benefits administration platform. This position reports to the AVP of Benefits Administration Services.

As one of NFP’s fastest growing practices, the NFP benefits administration team provides NFP offices and their clients with innovative outsourced solutions that significantly reduce administrative costs and time-consuming paperwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate and contribute in client kickoff & ongoing calls/meetings, helping to firmly establish and execute on agreed upon firm and client expectations
  • Build, customize and test employee-facing benefits enrollment platforms
  • Collect, analyze and audit data from various sources
  • Assist in identifying key milestones and develop timelines for initial implementation, subsequent renewals and site updates
  • Manage internal and external resources in a manner necessary to meet project deadlines and to resolve issues that arise
  • Work cohesively with other team members in an effort to achieve a successful and positive client experience.
  • Communicate with clients and team in a pleasant, professional manner
  • Manage client expectations aggressively, anticipating possible issues and working to resolve them in the most efficient manner
  • Proactively identify ways to improve client satisfaction

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability and follow through
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize assignments
  • High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, attendance, dependability, thoroughness and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Problem solver who can recognize an issue and develop a course of action to resolve quickly and efficiently, often in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks and projects
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to lead and work with others within a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Team player with a confident, positive attitude
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%)

Education and/or Experience:

  • Requires a BA or BS degree
  • Experience with technology, benefits, Human Resources or health care
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook and Excel
