Canopy Anywhere Supervisor - Position Overview:
- Canopy Anywhere Supervisors provide oversight and support to assigned Therapists, Hope Coaches and Pathfinders.
- Supervisors are responsible for monitoring day-to-day service delivery to youth, coordinating processes, and managing the people on their team.
- Supervisors strive for high efficiency and fidelity as well as cultivating a supportive and motivating atmosphere while working with remote team members.
- Supervisors set clear goals and expectations, provide regular support and feedback, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, support systemic and individual growth and development, coach and monitor fidelity to the Science of Hope framework with staff.
- Supervisors promote self-care, track progress, and promote and support continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in an applied mental health field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in related services.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Mississippi clinical license (preferred) or Certified Mental Health Therapist.
- Demonstrated competence working with families and youth.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to communicate in a therapeutic and professional manner.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervision
- Ensure any referrals are contacted within 1 business day.
- Maintain fidelity to the Canopy Anywhere model.
- Maintain fidelity to the Science of Hope framework.
- Conducts supervision with each team member twice a month.
- Assists staff with case conceptualization and care planning.
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and quality practice.
- Will manage crisis response plans and on-call procedures.
- Ensure the integrity of child/youth records and personal data.
- Promote adherence to Canopy’s core values amongst team members.
- Ensure adequate staff coverage of assigned service area.
Administrative
- Responsible for posting positions, interviewing, on-boarding, and disciplinary action.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining workloads among team members.
- Attend supervision sessions with the Senior Director as directed.
- Identify areas of improvement and develop effective solutions.
- Foster growth and innovation within the assigned team.
- Encourage collaboration and effective communication among team members.
Performance Improvement
- Conduct regular training sessions with staff on new concepts, procedures, and protocols as needed.
- Perform ongoing competency assessments and trainings to ensure fidelity to model of care.
- Identify problems, inefficiencies, or trends and address these with the assistance of the Senior Director.
- Assist in program evaluation and continuous quality improvement in coordination with Canopy Anywhere Leadership Team.
- Review current program designs and modifications as necessary.
Communication
- Assists with information gathering and communication on individual progress.
- Ensures effective referral process.
- Cascades relevant information to team members.
Reporting
- Prepares accurate reports as directed.
- Ensures timely data collection amongst team members.
- Ensures all reports meet assigned deadlines.
- Reports regularly on designated areas and progress toward goals.
- Performs other duties as required.
