As a Consultant - Lab Planner, you will partner with architects, clinicians, and designers to transform client visions into reality. You will be responsible for designing clinical lab processes, working with clients to outline optimized process flows, and creating strategic campus master plans. You will also contribute to estimating program and service resource requirements, communicate healthcare expertise to clients and project teams, and develop space programs and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or other applicable field required
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Board certification and/or licensure in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent preferred
- Experience working within the healthcare-built environment for at least 5 years is required
- Experience in large healthcare systems with a significant research/academic component is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of working knowledge of Clinical Laboratory operations experience is required
- Foundational knowledge of Clinical Laboratory equipment, regulatory requirements, and analytical methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare delivery systems, current trends, and national and regional benchmarks required
- Experience documenting meeting minutes and capturing stakeholder input
- Familiarity with healthcare planning tools, trends, evidence-based design, and FGI Guidelines
- Experience with organizing and conducting clinical end-user meetings
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint
- Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong organizational and time management skills
