The Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in leading the Architecture and Design Team in delivering innovative CSfC solutions for CACI's Archon Secure portfolio. This position involves serving as a servant leader, facilitating Agile processes, and ensuring the team effectively designs and implements secure, high-performance solutions. The successful candidate will foster collaboration within a highly skilled technical team of architects, engineers, and developers, driving the delivery of CSfC solutions that meet U.S. Government security and compliance standards while aligning with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding the Architecture and Design Team through Agile methodologies, with a focus on Scrum, to ensure efficient development and delivery of CSfC solutions. This role involves facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- The Scrum Master will work closely with product owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements.
- The Scrum Master will coach team members on Agile best practices, helping them overcome obstacles and adopt a collaborative, iterative approach to designing CSfC solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges of building secure communication systems, such as mission communications kits for tactical warfighter operations, and the ability to tailor Scrum processes to accommodate these complexities while maintaining compliance with U.S. Government standards.
- The Scrum Master will act as a liaison between the Architecture and Design Team and other stakeholders, including IT operations, security teams, and management, to ensure clear communication and alignment. This role involves managing dependencies, resolving impediments, and shielding the team from external distractions to maintain focus on delivering high-quality CSfC solutions.
- The Scrum Master will track and report team progress using Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, providing stakeholders with visibility into sprint outcomes and project milestones. This role requires strong problem-solving skills to address bottlenecks and a proactive approach to driving process improvements that enhance team efficiency and solution quality.
- The Scrum Master will be a self-motivated, organized individual capable of managing multiple priorities and fostering a culture of trust and innovation. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, mediate conflicts, and inspire the team to achieve their full potential in delivering mission-critical CSfC solutions.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for technical teams in a U.S. Government environment, preferably within IT or cybersecurity projects. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).
- Deep understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, with proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams to adopt Agile practices. Familiarity with CSfC frameworks and secure communication systems, with the ability to adapt Agile processes to meet stringent security and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello for tracking progress and managing backlogs.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage complex projects and articulate clear objectives and outcomes. DoD 8570 Compliance certification.

There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
