About the Company
We are a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS company with operations spanning more than 14 countries. With a dynamic product suite and a global customer base, our business is scaling rapidly and with complexity.
Why Buxton?
Buxton is a market leader in retail customer analytics, empowering brands with data-driven insights across all channels. Following our recent acquisitions of Elevar—a cutting-edge conversion tracking platform for fast-scaling e-commerce brands—and Audiense, an innovative consumer intelligence and social insights platform, we have expanded our capabilities to become an omnichannel data powerhouse. These strategic moves further accelerate our mission to deliver deep consumer insights and help drive meaningful connections between brands and their consumers both in person and online. Now, more than ever, our growing sales organization relies on a strong operational backbone to support complex deals and ensure we deliver value to customers efficiently.
Role Overview
We’re building a RevOps team designed for scale — smarter systems, faster processes, and AI at the core. With Elevar and Audiense added in, things are more complex, but that just means more opportunity to do it right.
This Deal Desk Analyst role is key to making that happen.
You’ll own the quote-to-cash process: pricing, CPQ, contracts, approvals, and making sure deals move fast and clean. We’ve got multiple CRMs, evolving products, and new sales motions coming online — and we need someone who can keep it all on track.
If you like solving problems, owning outcomes, and working without a ton of handholding, you’ll thrive here. We’re building a revenue engine that’s built to last. Let’s go!
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Full Deal Lifecycle – Lead the execution of new business deals from pricing and structuring through approvals and contract execution.
- Renewal & Amendment Support – Partner with Customer Success and Sales to support contract renewals, expansions, and amendments. Ensure alignment with prior terms, updated pricing, and product catalog changes.
- Deal Desk Support & Coordination – Be the primary partner for sales reps on deal structuring, pricing, and order form generation.
- Pricing Strategy & Governance – Develop and maintain scalable frameworks for discounting, deal qualification, and commercial policies, partnering closely with Finance and RevOps leadership.
- CPQ Configuration & Management – Manage our Salesforce CPQ tools and troubleshoot quoting and order workflows in real-time.
- Contract Support & Administration – Draft and coordinate review for statements of work, ensuring accuracy and alignment with deal terms and deliverables.
- Product Catalog Ownership – Manage and update pricing for products and bundles and ensure historical contracts align upon renewal in collaboration with Product.
- Quote-to-Cash Integrations – Support the migration of product catalogs, pricing structures, and deal workflows (e.g., Audiense) into our unified Salesforce CPQ instance. Ensure a smooth transition for sales, clean reporting, and alignment with Buxton’s consolidated revenue process.
- Proposal Coordination – Consolidate inputs from multiple teams to deliver clean, clear, and timely customer proposals, statements of work, and ordering documents.
- Approval Process Management – Route deals through proper approvals and maintain visibility into status.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Bridge Sales, Finance, Legal, and Tech to enable deal velocity.
- Order Activation Support – Ensure closed-won deals are processed cleanly for implementation and billing, coordinating with finance to automate where possible.
- Process Improvement & Automation – Identify opportunities to reduce friction and increase speed-to-quote. Partner with the systems team to improve tooling and data flow between Salesforce, CPQ, and finance systems.
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years in Deal Desk, Sales Ops, or RevOps in a SaaS/B2B environment.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, and Conga.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and process ownership.
- Clear communication across technical and commercial audiences.
- Bias for action with a strong sense of urgency.
- Mindset for continuous improvement, scale, and automation.
Expectations for Success
Within the first few weeks, you will:
- Onboard quickly to Buxton’s product catalog, pricing model, and quoting systems.
- Support active deals in the pipeline and identify top 10 areas to reduce friction across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
- Deliver one quick win by improving quote, workflow, or contract processes.
This role will also play a key part in defining our operational playbooks as we scale. You’ll help shape how we do deals as a company — not just follow what’s already in place. If you’re looking for a high-ownership role where you can move fast, drive impact, and create real change in how deals get done, let’s talk!
