Job Title: HR Administrator

About the role
We are looking for an organised and service-focused HR Administrator to join BSI’s People team.
In this role, you will provide essential day-to-day administrative support across the employee lifecycle, helping ensure HR processes run smoothly and colleagues receive timely, accurate support.
You will support activities including onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, HR documentation, payroll administration, and responding to employee queries, while maintaining high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR administrative support, ensuring a professional and responsive employee experience.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, contractual changes, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within HR systems.
- Respond to employee and manager queries, escalating more complex or sensitive matters where appropriate.
- Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and employment confirmations.
- Support payroll administration activities, ensuring timely and accurate data submission.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities with internal stakeholders such as Payroll, IT, and Facilities.
- Support local benefits administration and related employee communications where applicable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, templates, and guidance materials.
- Support wider HR projects and operational initiatives as required.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive employee experience through all interactions.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- 1–3 years of HR administration or similar administrative experience (including internships).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Good technical aptitude and willingness to learn HR systems and tools.
- Business English and local language proficiency relevant to the assigned country.
Highly desirable
- Experience working with HR systems or workflow/ticketing platforms.
- Exposure to onboarding, payroll administration, or employee lifecycle processes.
- HR-related qualification or studies.
- Experience supporting HR operations within an international or matrix organisation.
