Web Designer
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging and user-friendly websites that align with the company’s brand and meet user needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design principles, experience with design tools, and a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Design: Create visually appealing and functional website designs that enhance the user experience.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure designs align with company branding, guidelines, and overall marketing strategy.
- User Interface (UI) Design: Develop layouts, navigation menus, and interactive elements that are user-friendly and intuitive.
- Responsive Design: Optimize designs for various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, graphic designers, and other team members to implement designs and maintain project timelines.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to present design concepts and workflows.
- Graphic Creation: Design graphics, icons, and other visual elements for web pages as needed.
- Testing & Iteration: Test website functionality and aesthetics across different browsers and devices, making adjustments based on feedback.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications- Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and an eye for design.
- Portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.
- Minimum of 2 years of Elementor experience
- Working with design (templates) and content
- Being knowledgeable enough to flag that they need something different for the content block.
- Experience working with SEO-designed pages and content.
- Experience with Elementor Widgets
- Image editing (resizing for web, etc)
- Backend experience with plugin updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
- Experience with animation tools and techniques (e.g., motion graphics, interactive elements).
- Basic understanding of server-side technologies and hosting.
