Job Description

Embark on an exciting career as a Virtual Receptionist/Assistant in a progressive healthcare setting. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, managing a high volume of calls and inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by professionally managing incoming calls and patient inquiries
  • Efficiently schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal clinic flow
  • Guide new patients through the enrollment process, collecting and documenting all necessary information
  • Accurately update and maintain electronic health records, ensuring all patient information is current and complete
  • Actively participate in regular team meetings, contributing ideas for process improvement
  • Handle various administrative tasks to support the healthcare team and enhance operational efficiency
  • Consistently meet and exceed daily performance goals set by the organization
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care coordination
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and data handling

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • MUST HAVE WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a receptionist or administrative role
  • Strong familiarity with medical terminology and a solid understanding of HIPAA regulations
  • Proficiency in using healthcare-specific software and electronic health record systems
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a patient-centric approach
  • Ability to work full-time during Pacific Time zone hours (8 AM - 5 PM PT)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Adaptability to new technologies and software systems as required by the organization
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working remotely while maintaining a high level of professionalism and team integration
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
