This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- The original plan would be to start at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays, Sydney, Australia (Australian business hours)
- Client time zone: Australian Eastern Standard Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable .NET-based web applications using C#, ASP.NET (MVC/Core), and Entity Framework
- Design and manage SQL server databases; write complex-stored procedures, queries, and optimize performance
- Implement responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Blazor
- Integrate RESTful APIs and web services between client and server systems
- Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA to deliver robust software features
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely solutions and patches
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
- Continuously explore and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
Experience: 3-8 yearsRequired Skills and Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, and .NET Framework/.NET 6+
Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular/React/Blazor
Proficient in SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design principles
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodology
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, or Selenium
Exposure to Identity and Access Management (OAuth, JWT)
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, MCSA)
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently as well as part of a distributed team
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
