Full Stack Engineer - Backend Focus (ZR_24808_JOB)

This is a remote position.

Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours

This is a great opportunity to join a growing tech company as a Full Stack Engineer, with a focus on backend development using PHP Laravel. You’ll help build and maintain key systems that support the company’s operations.

You’ll have a direct role in technical decision-making through daily video calls and teamwork with cross-functional teams. You’ll also work closely with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

This role combines technical challenges with real business impact—your backend skills will be highly valued and your work will directly contribute to the company’s success.

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems using PHP and Laravel

• Contribute to architectural and technical design decisions across the stack

• Collaborate with frontend developers (experience with React and TypeScript is a plus)

• Write clean, testable, and scalable code following best practices

• Translate technical ideas into business value through clear communication with cross-functional teams

• Take initiative and drive projects from ideation to delivery with minimal supervision

• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and team discussions to maintain high standards

• Extensive experience with PHP and strong proficiency in Laravel

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, databases, and backend architecture

• Full-stack development experience preferred; React and TypeScript are a plus

• Proven ability to work independently and lead projects end-to-end

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working in an agile environment with shifting priorities

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
