Job Description

We’re seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our forward-thinking development team. You’ll work with our custom-built technology stack, centered around the powerful Cornerstone page builder and modern WordPress development practices. This role offers unique exposure to AI-integrated development workflows, where you’ll leverage tools like ChatGPT to optimize development processes. You’ll be instrumental in managing and deploying websites for our growing client base, working within our established systems while having the opportunity to contribute to our evolving best practices. This position offers significant growth potential, with direct mentorship from senior developers and exposure to cutting-edge web development techniques.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy WordPress websites using our specialized template system and Cornerstone page builder
  
• Execute site maintenance and updates across our client portfolio using Pressable hosting platform
  
• Implement dynamic content solutions and custom functionality using modern WordPress development practices
  
• Utilize AI tools to optimize development workflows and problem-solving processes
  
• Manage staging environments for testing and implementing new features
  
• Support monthly maintenance schedules and update reporting
  
• Assist with site migrations and new project deployments
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation for internal processes
  
• Collaborate with senior developers to improve and streamline development workflows
  

Requirements

• 2-3 years of WordPress development experience
  
• Strong understanding of WordPress core functionality and best practices
  
• Experience with modern page builders (Cornerstone experience is a plus)
  
• Familiarity with managed WordPress hosting platforms
  
• Comfort with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into development workflow
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  
• Ability to work during EST business hours
  
• Experience with version control systems and development best practices
  
• Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce solutions (preferred)
  
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies
