Architecture Awards Consultant (ZR_23474_JOB)

This is a remote position.

The Role

We’re seeking a seasoned Architecture Awards Consultant to lead, manage, and execute award submissions for top-tier national and international programs — including AIA, Architizer A+Awards, Dwell, Dezeen, and other curated competitions. You’ll help identify the right projects for the right platforms and craft submission packages that reflect the intent, innovation, and visual power of our work.

• Develop an annual awards submission calendar based on strategic relevance and deadlines

• Identify eligible projects, awards, and categories across residential and design sectors

• Prepare and manage award submissions — including image curation, text development, project storytelling, and online form completion

• Collaborate with design and marketing team to gather assets, photography, and plans

• Maintain records of submissions, deadlines, and results

• Advise on photography, presentation, and narrative positioning to maximize chances of winning

Requirements

• Proven experience managing architecture and design award submissions

• Strong familiarity with award platforms: AIA, Architizer, Dezeen, Dwell, Interior Design Best of Year, The Plan, WAN, etc.

• Excellent writing skills with an eye for architectural storytelling

• Ability to distill complex project ideas into clear, engaging language

• Comfort working with architects, creatives, and photographers

• Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven

• Portfolio of successful past submissions or awards won

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Experience with press kits, media relations, or architecture PR

• Background in architecture, journalism, or design communications
