United States onlyTerrific new Major Gifts Officer position with a social services nonprofit in Florida. This role will operate remotely and needs to be based in the South Florida area. The MGO will join the organization during an exciting period of growth and at the start of a six year fundraising campaign to support expansion of programmatic services.
Requirements
- Provide moves management to a major gifts portfolio of 120-150 current and prospective donors, securing gifts of $10k+
- Develop and grow the major gifts portfolio including elevating existing donors to higher levels of giving
- Utilize effective cultivation strategies and maintain consistent communication with donors
- Provide donor stewardship, reporting, and proposals
- Identify new prospects capable of giving major gifts and analyze giving trends
- Manage giving societies and grow the donor base
- Travel within the region to meet with donors and attend events
