United States onlyTerrific new Major Gifts Officer role with a highly regarded national nonprofit. The MGO will cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and prospects to grow the major giving portfolio within the region of South Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and parts of the DFW area.
Requirements
- Approximately 3 to 5+ years of major gifts fundraising experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred; additional experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
- Experience with individual gifts and multi-year commitments
- Demonstrated track record utilizing moves management strategies to secure at least 5-figure gifts
- Go-getter with strong business acumen and a high level of professionalism
- Ability to story tell and convey the organization's mission in a way that connects with donors
- History of cultivating strong relationships with donors
- Collaborative and able to work well as part of a dispersed team
