Breeze Airways, legally known as Breeze Aviation Group, Inc., is an American low-cost airline headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The airline was founded by David Neeleman, a seasoned entrepreneur in the aviation sector who is also known for co-founding JetBlue, Azul, and several other airlines. Breeze Airways commenced operations on May 27, 2021. The inaugural flight was from Tampa International Airport to Charleston International Airport. The vision behind Breeze is to offer nonstop service connecting underserved routes across the United States at affordable fares. Since its inception, Breeze has distinguished itself in the marketplace as the ‘Seriously Nice™’ airline.
