Senior Firmware Support Engineer

We are in search of a Senior Firmware Support Engineer to join our innovative teamas our new #bloqstar. As a Senior Firmware Support Engineer, you will be part of the Specialist Team, focusing on diagnosing and resolving firmware-related issues escalated from the Core Support Team. You will work closely with R&D and Product teams to identify root causes, implement fixes, and enhance overall firmware stability.

What will be your responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve critical firmware problems, analyzing logs and error reports to pinpoint issues;
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to address firmware bugs, propose enhancements, and validate fixes;
• Contribute detailed troubleshooting guides to our knowledge base, helping other support tiers manage similar issues;
• Assist in setting up firmware health metrics and alerts to proactively detect potential failures.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Strong experience in embedded systems, microcontrollers, or similar firmware development/support environments;
• Proficiency in Python;
• Experience coordinating tasks and resources to ensure resolutions and implementation of firmware enhancements;
• Proven ability to analyze complex issues and debug at the code/hardware interface level;
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Hardware, and other specialists;
• Ability to juggle multiple escalations in a dynamic, fast-paced setting;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
