Legal Counsel – Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Leave)

We are in search of a Legal Counsel to join as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role ensuring the company's compliance with laws and regulations, while supporting its business objectives.

What will be your responsibilities

• Provide general support on a range of corporate matters, including management of corporate documents and assistance on Board and Shareholder meetings;
• Monitoring compliance with corporate governance requirements;
• Review a variety of commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, supplier agreements, and service agreements;
• Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets, and provide support on strategies to protect the company's intellectual property assets;
• Manage legal documentation and records, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and external lawyers.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Bachelor's Degree in Law from a Portuguese University;
• Professional experience of at least 1 year in similar roles;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Passion for working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to demonstrate personal commitment and drive to set and exceed high standards;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
