Head of Social and Influencer Marketing

Blockovate is a new and ambitious marketing agency on a mission to help innovative blockchain based solutions reach their target audience.

Role

We are looking for a Head of Social and Influencer Marketing to join our busy, fast-growing and ambitious team. Working closely with the Directors, you will be charged with leading the strategy and execution of marketing our exciting blockchain projects.

The ideal candidate will understand how to use social media to strategically build brands, create attention and generate user advocacy on a large scale. You will have developed highly creative social media marketing campaigns and will have demonstrated the ability to implement innovative ideas to attract attention.

You will know how to rapidly scale out social accounts, driving strong social proof and creating vibrant and engaged communities.

Key accountabilities

• Own the development of a strategic social media marketing plan and its associated budget across campaigns and channels
• Lead the development and direct the implementation of a wide range of content forms, including video, text, still imagery, and other content forms that best utilize the technology available on any given social media/digital platform
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing Director to execute on Go To Marketing strategies and constantly innovate and improve our ways of working
• Plan and manage campaign executions, on time, on budget, to scope
• Manage the social and community teams
• Negotiate deals with Influencers/KOLs to drive engagement and revenue with/for our projects and create a clear pipeline of deliverables and how we measure success.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in social media marketing and creative development
• Experience driving traffic and conversions with Web3 KOLs, ideally with an existing contact base we can leverage for our projects
• 3+ years of management experience
• A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
• Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques
• Proven experience of creating engaging crypto content for web 3 communities
• Experience working with designers
• The ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
• Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics
• Proven experience in the blockchain or crypto industry
