Job Description:
In this position as a Financial Analyst (WCF), you will provide comprehensive financial management support within a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing and managing annual budget submissions and execution activities, delivering detailed financial reporting and analysis, and supporting program acquisition funding and validation. You will also play a critical role in evaluating financial performance, identifying trends, and ensuring compliance with federal financial regulations. In this position, you will also:
- Prepare, review, and update Budget Estimate Submissions (BES)
- Participate in budget planning meetings and monitor program spend plans
- Evaluate budget execution performance against planned objectives
- Prepare monthly financial reports and conduct detailed financial data analysis
- Track and analyze commitments, obligations, and expenditures
- Identify financial risks and provide mitigation recommendations
- Assist with financial document creation and validation for program acquisition funding
- Validate customer MIPR documents and prepare Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a financial role within a Working Capital Fund environment.
- MBA, CPA, CGFM, or CDFM certification (10 years of relevant financial experience in lieu of MBA or certification requirement).
Desired Skills:
- Experience with financial systems such as Momentum, Oracle Federal Financials, or UFMS.
- Familiarity with OMB Circular A-11, Treasury guidance, and federal internal controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to financial data and reporting.
- Ability to communicate financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $135,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
