Job Summary
The accounts payable (AP) department keeps the system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team and help process, track, and record payments accurately, efficiently, and timely. The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and good terms with our valued partners.
Responsibilities
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment. Process invoices into our ERP system
Prepare AP reconciliations and a process around this task; reconcile AP Aging to GL
- Assist with balance sheet account reconciliations relating to the role's area of responsibility, including Bank, Trade Creditors, Prepayments, Overhead Accruals
Respond to supplier and business questions
Must Haves
- 5 years accounts payable experience
- Knowledge of Netsuite/ Oracle
- Knowledge of Zendesk or other ticketing software
Highly Desired
- General accounting experience a plus
