Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Marketing and Vendor Funds, and General Ledger.
• Prepare and review accounting schedules to ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance and handle regional and corporate requests on various accounting issues
• Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings via company databox
• Support ad-hoc projects
• Provide financial analysis and decision support to management.
• Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Assist in the preparation and filing of annual reports and other corporate documents
• Coordinate with legal counsel on corporate governance matters

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• 10+ years of combined accounting and finance experience
• Should be professional qualified - CPA
• Thorough knowledge of local accounting principles and procedures
• Ability to solve the problem and manage the conflict of works across the functional departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Czech and English (both written and spoken)
• Strong interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space
• Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team
• Immediate availability is preferred
