POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with analytics, engineering, and product teams to ensure data integrity and enable high-impact decision-making.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR REMOTE POSITIONS:

For remote positions, all candidates must complete a video screen with our corporate recruiting team.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Maintain automated data onboarding and diagnostic tools for AIP partners
• Monitor ADF pipelines and mitigate pipeline runs as needed
• Maintain Privacy Dashboard and Bing user interests for Bing Growth team usage
• Participate and resolve live sites in related areas
• Data Platform development and maintenance, Notebook based processing pipelines and MT migration
• Manage the regular data quality Cosmos/MT jobs
• Online tooling and support such as DADT tools
• Watch out the abnormal pattern, perform ad-hoc data quality analysis, investigate daily the user ad click broken cases
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Good quality software development and understanding.
• Ability to quickly communicate across time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-motivated
• Coding Language: Java, C#, Python, Scala
• Technologies: Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Cosmos, SQL
• Azure resource management: ADF, Azure Key vaults, Managed Identity, Azure Storage, etc.
• Big data experience is a plus

• Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required
