Backend (Node.js) Engineer

Your impact:

• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested backend solutions using Node.js.
• Design technical solutions based on product requirements and participate in architecture discussions.
• Proactively identify and drive system improvements (performance, scalability, reliability).
• Work with distributed systems (databases, messaging, caching).
• Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
• Drive product-oriented thinking by contributing to delivery of impactful user-facing features.

About you:

• 2+ years of experience with Node.js in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS.
• Solid experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Experience working with Redis or other caching solutions.
• Understanding of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ or similar).
• Experience writing tests (unit/integration).
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS or similar).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with observability practices and tools (e.g., Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry, Sentry).
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with performance optimization and scalability in high-load systems.
