The journey began in 2014 as an in-home salon and spa service, prompted by a demand from seniors who insisted on regular pedicures due to the challenges of accessing their feet. Belle transitioned away from its original marketplace model to focus on addressing foot health issues, realizing that a significant percentage of diabetes-related healthcare costs stemmed from preventable foot ulcers and amputations. By 2019, Belle formed health plan partnerships, standardizing its service delivery of medical pedicures within home healthcare.
