Sr. Account & Operations Manager, Speaker Bureau

About the role

BCD Meetings & Events is seeking an experienced Sr. Account & Operations Manager (Sr. A&OM) to support our growing Speaker Bureau practice. This role blends client partnership, operational expertise, and process leadership, ensuring high‑quality, compliant delivery of life sciences Speaker Bureau programs.

The AOM plays a key role in driving operational excellence, scalability, and client confidence, working across internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver best‑in‑class service.

You're good at

  • Partnering with internal teams and clients to ensure successful delivery of Speaker Bureau programs
  • Driving operational consistency, standard processes, and performance metrics
  • Identifying and resolving operational risks related to compliance, reconciliation, and logistics
  • Support of client escalations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaboration with Sales, Compliance, Finance, and Technology to enhance service models
  • Supporting growth through scalable operational design and resource planning

You might also have

  • 7+ years of experience in Speaker Bureau, life sciences meetings, or regulated events
  • Strong operational background with a focus on compliance and audit readiness
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and expertise
  • Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills

You should know

  • This role requires previous Speaker Bureau experience
  • This role is virtual
  • Travel up to 25% is required (up to 4x annually)

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:25% to 50%

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Account & Operations Manager, Speaker Bureau is between $85,000 - $100,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
