Role summary

This role is part of the Supplier Management and Operations Team within the Procurement function and is responsible for processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders and associated administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Adoption of purchase requisitions into purchase orders via the SAP, within agreed SLAs.
  • Review purchase orders, identifying errors and providing appropriate feedback.
  • Managing the Open Order book, reviewing open orders, checking the status, closing down orders, and general housekeeping of the purchase order database.
  • Support with the requirement to create, maintain, develop, and run management information reports as required, including Functional KPI reports and P2P metrics, and bespoke reports for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Support the Category Managers with progress chasing, supplier relationship management administration, and reconciliations.
  • Provide training on R2P process both within the Procurement function and across the wider business.
  • Monitor teams’ mailboxes and enquires.
  • Assist the Head of Procurement Operations and the procurement management team as required.
  • Other administrative and team support tasks as required.

What we’re looking for

  • A good understanding of Procurement processes
  • Excellent administrative ability with attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to internal and external stakeholders, whilst raising concerns and challenging decisions when required.
  • Experience using SAP or a similar system is essential, and a competent user of MS Office.
  • Clear communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to provide training to a variety of audiences.
  • Natural enthusiasm and a problem solving mentality.
  • Prior experience of an operational role in Procurement or Accounts Payable is desirable

Whilst we are operating on a hybrid working basis, this role would suit someoone who resides close to either the Leeds or Guildford office to enable them to meet the team for regular training and meetings, dependant on business needs.
