Job Description:

This is a remote-based role in Central or North Texas (Austin area preferred).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary Axalta contact for assigned Caliber Collision locations, providing high level customer support with frequent face-to-face visits.
  • Perform shop audits to ensure Axalta equipment is in good working condition, Axalta products are used correctly, and SOPs are in compliance.
  • Analyze cost & productivity KPIs, review data with store management.
  • Manage budget for each center, insuring monthly costs are within allotted parameters.
  • Work closely with servicing jobber, to ensure proper support & inventory levels are maintained.
  • Involve local Axalta teams for additional support when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 3-5 years of Automotive Refinish industry experience
  • Ability to travel > 50% of the time, and the discipline to self-manage territory responsibilities.
  • Conform with Caliber Collision corporate culture & code of conduct, as well as Axalta’s.
  • Have proficient paint shop technical knowledge or demonstrate the ability to be a willing learner.
  • Have effective communication skills, including the ability to write call reports and follow-up/visit summary letters.
  • Competent Excel and PowerPoint skills (reports, pivot tables), making data-driven recommendations.
  • Ability to connect with multiple employee levels within the organization.
