JOB SUMMARY
Avid Technology is looking forPeople Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, HRIS transactions in Workday, and offboarding, while serving as the first point of contact for HR inquiries and partnering with Payroll, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience.
This role is a Remote position based in the Philippines, with a work schedule of 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM with occasional onsite reporting at our BGC office (approximately once a month to once every two months) for filing, records, and audit purposes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as first point of contact to HR inquiries via ServiceNow, providing accurate, timely, and empathetic support
- Assign and/or escalate HR inquiries as necessary and as quickly as possible
- Execute employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, including hires, terminations, job and compensation changes, and manager transfers
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure compliance with internal controls and local employment regulations
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including systems setup, benefits orientation, stakeholder communications, and Workday updates
- Partner with HR Business Partners on policy guidance, performance concerns, and employee relations matters
- Collaborate with Payroll on salary audits, final pay instructions, and unemployment claim processing
- Prepare and submit compliance reports as needed
- Assist in tracking completion of compliance training
- Identify trends in employee inquiries and contribute to the improvement of HR processes and knowledge base content
- Identify process improvements and communicate across stakeholders to form recommendations
- Support wellness, engagement, or other HR initiatives and projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of HR operations experience, preferably in a regional or global support role

- Working knowledge of global employment practices and HR operations
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools such as Workday and ServiceNow
