Scope:
The SQL Developer Level 2 is part of a cross-functional team delivering robust, scalable, and innovative software solutions. This team focuses on improving efficiency, enhancing user experiences, and ensuring system reliability through continuous development and improvement.

Job Summary:

The SQL Developer Level 2 independently contributes to database and software projects by designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality solutions. This role involves active collaboration with other team members, optimizing development processes, and mentoring junior developers.

Competencies:

Functional:

  • Develop, test, and deploy SQL solutions based on project requirements.
  • Design and implement new features while ensuring system reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and design test scenarios.
  • Optimize code for performance and maintainability.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to team adherence to Agile development methodologies.

Core:

  • Proficiency in a T-SQL programming language
  • Intermediate to Advanced understanding of database systems (SQL Server) Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indexes, Temporary Tables, Execution Plans.
  • 3+ Years experience developing stored procedures and integrating with APIs.
  • Design and maintain data models for databases and warehouses.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows using ETL tools.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of web programming basics, html, css
  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in SQL/software development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of other languages such as C#, *.net are good to have.

FLSA Status: Salary/Exempt

National Salary Range: $61,360 - $96,040
