According to its website, the company curates products and brands from customers' cities and delivers them to doorsteps in mere hours, with an emphasis on convenience, speed, reliability, and sustainability. ARIVE also states it built an experience for 'urban retail' and connected retailers, customers, and brands, positioning 'the city' as being 'at your fingertip.'

From its stated origins in Paris during the COVID-19 pandemic, ARIVE expanded its service presence across multiple German cities (Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt) and also operated in Paris. The company reports attracting over 500 brands and 200 local stores to its platform, and says its journey was fueled by 31.7 million Euros raised from investors including Balderton Capital, LaFamiglia, 468 Capital, and Triple Point Capital. The website further notes that mid-2023 the company was sold and operations in Germany and France ceased.
