As a Bid manager for the Commercial function at Appsbroker CTS, you’ll ensure that our key strengths and differentiators are presented in the most clear and polished way for every commercial bid/SOW that Appsbroker CTS provides a customer.
As a Bid Manager you will be responsible for implementing and governing the latest tools, templates and best practices for the company's sales-to-delivery process. You’ll provide input and oversight to all aspects of the 'bid/SOW’ process, from initial lead qualification through to project handover making sure Appsbroker CTS' brand and value is reflected consistently and professionally.
You’ll ensure each of the company's business divisions establishes a set of standard artefacts and is clear on the process and support required for large and small bids, ensuring the company is well placed to both win and deliver customer engagements. The Bid Manager will work closely with Marketing to ensure a consistent representation of the company's brand.
This role is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
- Leverage best practices, tools and templates which provide a clear articulation of the Appsbroker CTS value in the most innovative and professional way.
- Support scoping, analysis and qualification of customer requirements, through an RFx process
- Coordinate and oversee the production of proposal / presentation documents and other customer-facing collateral.
- Respond in a timely manner to customers' requests for information / proposals (RFI / RFPs). Managing the process and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all bid and SOW (Scope of Work) submissions are accurate, innovative and that all due governance has been adhered to at each stage of the bidding process
- Ensure commercials are as compelling and persuasive as possible, and are tailored to meet the specific requirements of the customer scenario
- Foster effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and the customer, during the bid phase of the project, balancing the needs and objectives of both and resolving issues that arise
Requirements
- Track record of successfully creating and managing the end-to-end bid process within a sales organisation
- Identifying / implementing continuous process improvement initiatives using innovative tools.
- 'Solution selling' in a professional services firm is desirable.
- Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid they are working on.
